Take part to an enchanting guided tour through the gentle hills characterized by the presence of ancient Abbeys, little parish churches, Palladian villas, medieval castles and romantic villages. A visit and tasting in local cellars give you the possibility to discover and appreciate the secrets, smells, and flavors of the Prosecco, the local wine famous in all the world.
PROGRAMM OF A TOUR, STARTING FROM CONEGLIANO:
At 09.00 you will meet the driver and tour escort. Departure by mini-van or mini-bus from Conegliano to the Historical Prosecco Wine Route. Brief stop to take photos at the church “Antica Pieve” in San Pietro di Feletto.
Guided tour in a first cellar with description of the productive process and tasting of 5 types of wine with bread, salami (cold cuts) and cheeses.
Lunch at a typical “Trattoria” with “Sua Maestà lo Spiedo” (“spit roast”: mix of meat cocked on a spit in front of the fire, for 6-8 hours; mix of side dishes + tiramisu, water, wine and coffee). .
In the afternoon, the tour will continue along the Wine Route with stops at the water mill in Molinetto della Croda of Refrontolo and at the ancient Cistercian Abbey in Follina. Guided tour in a second cellar with tasting of 3 types of wine. The tour follows up along the Prosecco Wine Route to reach the “Spumante” wine area of the Conegliano – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Route in Valdobbiadene where you will admire the amazing Panorama and taste 3 types of wine in a third cellar. The tour ends with the visit of the famous Osteria Senz’Oste, known as “Prosecco machine”.
Return to Conegliano at 18:00./18:30.
